Foucault and Deleuze’s discussion on power and the diffuse possession of it reminded me about police brutality. They mentioned in their conversation that the police , while not being part of the ruling class still exerts a great amount of power on the masses. The video I chose is a good representation of what happens when power is taken too far, but yet it is still justified even though it violates human rights. To take things even further why do we allow such a violation to occur? Even though stop and frisk is not as serious as murders that were committed during Fascist regimes, it still has the same underlying factor of being accepted by the majority.
